Declaring a New Holiday!

In celebration of the landmark Supreme Court of the United States decision made this day in 2015, we are officially declaring a new holiday, Isodikeia. It is the Feast of Equality (ἴσος/isos) and Justice (δίκη/dike). Those who have defended the Beauty of equality in love are to be honored as we laud the hard fought victory. I would love to hear suggestions for the observance of Isodikeia. And remember, the fight isn’t over and my hope is that each June 26th we can see more and more reasons to celebrate this new day.IMG_20150626_155345

About FV Everleigh

FV Everleigh is a queer preacher’s kid in Los Angeles. After years as an award winning Christian rock star, FV toured the globe producing acclaimed burlesque shows for world famous stripper Michelle L’amour. They eventually moved into John Wayne’s favorite New Orleans brothel and adopted the last name of the Everleigh Sisters who ran an opulent Chicago bordello in 1900. In addition to training at UCLA, Roadmap Writers and the Writing Pad Television Certificate Program, his scripts have placed in the ScreenCraft, Roadmap and Inroads Fellowship competitions. Twenty years surrounded by sex-positive women, outré artists and circus misfits has informed FV’s sexually subversive, morally murky, visually yummy stories where the marginalized always win...eventually.
